Terms & Conditions
Updated: 27 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions describe the agreement between you and VeryChinaTravel.com when you enquire about, plan, or book a private China tour with us. Please read them before sending a booking request. By using this website and submitting a request, you confirm that you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
VeryChinaTravel.com is a China-based travel agency that designs and operates private, tailor-made tours for international visitors. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean VeryChinaTravel.com. References to “you” or “your” mean the person making the request and any travel companions included in the same booking.
2. Enquiries, quotes and bookings
Browsing this website and submitting an enquiry does not create a booking. After we receive your request, a travel consultant prepares a tailored itinerary and a written quote. A booking is confirmed only when we issue a booking confirmation in writing and the agreed deposit has been received. Prices shown on the website are “from” indicators and are not a binding offer.
3. Payments
Payment is arranged directly with your consultant — we do not take payment through the website at this stage. A typical arrangement is a deposit to secure the booking, with the balance due before arrival. We will state the exact amount, currency, and due dates in your written quote and confirmation. All amounts are quoted in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
4. Pricing
Final pricing depends on travel dates, group size, hotel category, and season. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors in published prices. Your quoted price is held for the validity period stated in the quote; after that, revised pricing may apply.
5. Changes requested by you
We understand plans change. You may request amendments to a confirmed booking; where possible we will accommodate them. Changes that affect suppliers (hotels, trains, guides) may incur additional costs, which we will confirm with you before proceeding.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation terms are detailed in your booking confirmation, because they vary by itinerary and supplier. As a general guide, cancellations made further from the start date receive a larger refund, while late cancellations may be non-refundable. We will always explain the applicable cancellation policy in writing before you pay any deposit.
7. Travel documents and entry requirements
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the correct Chinese visa (or applicable visa-free eligibility), and any other documents required for entry. We can advise on common requirements but cannot guarantee entry, which is decided by immigration authorities.
8. Health and travel insurance
Some itineraries involve moderate activity or high-altitude areas. You should assess your fitness for the trip you book. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical care, and evacuation for every traveler.
9. Our responsibility and limitations
We select reputable local suppliers and licensed vehicles, and we support you throughout the trip. However, we are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control — including weather, strikes, government actions, or the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, railways). Where a service is provided by a third party, that supplier’s own terms may also apply.
10. Privacy
How we collect and use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Any dispute will be resolved through friendly negotiation first, and otherwise through the competent courts in the jurisdiction where our company is registered.
